Accountant

Hit! Run! Score!, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Accountant. Our Accountant is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting along with ensuring that the general administrative needs of the Company are met.

Hit! Run! Score! is a family owned sporting goods retailer located in Plano, Texas. We have a dynamic work environment operated using Biblical principles.

DUTIES:
Our Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all business transactions (3000+/mo and growing), timely payment of bills and AR collection; payroll; governmental reporting and taxes; budget and cash flow management; financial reporting and analysis; manage accounting relationships with suppliers, financial institutions and CPA; account reconciliations; and supervising the Accounting Clerk.

Our Accountant is also responsible for the general administrative needs of the company including administration of employee records, administering heath insurance and other benefit programs, managing insurance programs, office and facilities maintenance, and general record keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2 years work experience or the equivalent. Proficiency with Quickbooks and Excel is required. Proficiency with SQL, Access, and Stone Edge Order Manager is desired. Experience in Internet Retail or the Sporting Goods industry is a plus.

The successful candidate must also be a self starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills, have a high attention to detail with good follow through, be organized, have strong oral and written communication skills, have the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and be able to deal with multiple projects and deadlines.

Position Type:
This is a full time, salaried position. Salary is dependent on experience. Benefits currently include health insurance and paid time off.
