This ATEC Rookie Softball pitching machine is a 12 volt battery powered downsized version of the Power Hummer pitching machine and will do all the same drills at a slightly slower speed and shorter distance. The ATEC Rookie Softball pitching machine delivers consistent fastballs and change-ups at variable speeds. The Rookie, in pitching machine mode, throws fastballs at speeds up to 60 mph.
