Bob Johnson Biography

Bob Johnson's coaching experience spans nearly 35 years. As head coach, Bob has won 7 League Championships and 4 CIF Championships. He was honored as California Coach of the year for 2002 and has coached 3 Orange County All Star games and 1 Shrine game.

Several of Johnson's high school quarterbacks have gone on to be highly recruited by Division 1 schools, including his two sons Bret and Rob Johnson. Bob's approach to teaching the art of quarterbacking encompasses the entire player.

A quarterback himself for the Fresno State Bulldog's, Coach Johnson believes in the importance of character, toughness, leadership and family in developing his quarterbacks. Privately, Bob Johnson has worked with over 100 division I quarterbacks. For the past 4 years he has been asked to select and coach the top 11 college prep quarterbacks in the nation to take part in the Student Sports sponsored Elite 11 Quarterbacks program.

Sought after by agents, coaches and athletes of all ages, Johnson has been featured on programs including NBC, ABC, CNN SI, ESPN, Fox Sports, and countless publications. Referred to, as a "Quarterback Guru" Johnson is dedicated to his craft.
